Mapping - Motion Design

In collaboration with Pierre Tessier for the Lausanne Lumière festival, a mapping project was undertaken that pushed the boundaries of perspective.

Utilising the façade of Plateforme 10 - Photo Elysée as a canvas, we crafted a living, breathing artwork of white lines on a black backdrop that painted an ever-evolving picture of new, imaginary spaces within the building's surface.

These spaces are not confined to the rules of reality, instead, they shift and warp, morphing from interior to exterior perspectives and challenging the viewer's perception. An exploration of non-Euclidean geometry inspired the project, with the aim of disorienting the spectator, pushing them to question their sense of space and depth. The lines themselves danced across the facade, suggesting the illusion of movement within these impossible spaces.
